I bought the HaT command set box for the regular fifers and officers included in the set. The Landwehr officers look like CW officers that will fit with HaT's Zouaves with some new heads. We'll see.

Great idea, there appears to be a lot of potential with this officer figure with just head swaps. Add some paint to him and you've certainly got a winner in the long run. I think you could probably also rework this fellow for the Mexican War also. Will be interested to see what you come up with for this guy...:smile2:

A little slow on progress with these. I'm surprised that my Green Stuff won't stick to the plastic. I tried cleaning it and roughing the surface with sand paper.

Yes! A Mexican War US officer is another option.
