Decided to do an original figure of this medieval piece. I used a Historex academy nude as a dolly. As this was so recognisable, I altered the pose and sculpted the legs. The robe underneath was made from copper sheet. The head was repositioned and completely reshaped.

Finished most of the body. The sleeves are done. Now added the tabard sleeves from rolled out putty.

I painted the face carefully then decided to outline the heraldry on the tabard.

Painting in progress. Added some metal etched leaves to the head wreath.

It’s been sometime since I last picked up this fig. After careful examination, I’ve decided to redo the tabard in order to create more space to paint the heraldry.
