Pvblivs new medieval set (1 Viewer)

Hello all,
I'm surprised by the no (few) reactions in the USA concerning the Russian actual production . Pvblivs is the more prolific manufacturer this year; seven sets in one year: four medievals, one of Pirates, one of Indians and one WW2... Engeneer Bassevitch has made two sets during 2013 (Six in two years!!!)
I'm agree that the sets are expensive and maybe hard to get in the USA but I find the little of reactions very strange.
Best regards from France.

I think you answered your own question with the expensive and hard to find! The subject matter he has chosen will not help his sales over here in the states either! I picked up a couple of sets of the Russian figures he first put out because I thought they looked good but I don,t see a lot of guys here in the states being into the subject matter and then having to pay through the nose for the figures??? I just don,t see the figures catching on here in the states.
If he had done some good looking Napoleonics I might pay through the nose and hunt them down, but not for these sets!!!
If he wants to sell state side he has to lower his prices and research what sells in the states, things like Civil war, Napoleonics, WWII,ect... I realize he is from Russia and what sells over there period wise is different I,m sure! But how about 1812 Napoleonics!!! That,s big here and there and is big with the gaming crowds who will buy in multiple sets.
Thats my two cents on the subject.
FISH!

I would like to buy that set. But can not buy them from the Russian site. They never return an email. That stops sales.^&confuse

The only reason I have his other sets is that I found them at OTSN. They are expensive but I don,t mind paying the show price but if you have to add postage then it,s to much.
I did go to the website but it,s kinda hard to navugate as it is in Russian!

Why, if you are an American collector of a period, would you ONLY collect American themed subjects WITHIN a diverse conflict??
More nations and diversity add to great and interesting collecting!
How can someone say that they love Napolianics and ONLY collect French and British?
This is a strange and lame phenomenon within the toy soldier community.
