I made the castings to this piece eons ago. The hat ornament was made from a small nail, the cape was from copper sheet, the necklace was from wire and the belt ornaments from twisted wire.
Found several of these pieces lurking in storage half-completed. I discovered a nice gilt paint which flows and covers well.

I used the paint to do up the throne. When dry, the piece was glossed.
This piece represents the last Emperor Pu Yi with round glasses.
