QR-01 Robert's or Wolfe's Rangers? (1 Viewer)

I purchased I set of 4 pieces numbered as above but titled "Wolfe's Rangers" on the box. Seller referred to them as Roger's Rangers and as a set of a limited edition of 135. However, my Wolfe's Rangers are of a set of 250. The pieces inside consist of 2 men standing holding muskets, 1 standing man firing, and 1 kneeling man firing. All have blue caps and generally outfitted in blue and brown. Are Rogers Rangers Major Roberts men soldiering for General Wolfe? If so, why the different numbers for limited edition sets? Can anybody sort this out?

There were suppose to be 250 sets made but only 135 were actually made.There were Rangers with Wolfe at Quebec but I don't believe they were Roger's Rangers.

Thank you. From the posts you sent I gather only 135 sets were made although there are certificates indicating 250 sets. Does it follow that the only certificates out are for sets 1 through 135 out of 250. Is that correct?
My QR-01 box says "Wolfe's Rangers," was that label used exclusively on every box sold? Or were there 2 different labels used on boxes for the 135 sets?
Were there 2 different batch releases of QR-01 to the public?

All the rangers were under the command of General Wolfe. All 6 different companies wore black and blue uniforms which were issued to them in 1759 just before the siege of Quebec. I have also included Britains' example of this figure.

Randy, was Gorham's Ranger unit one of the 6 such attired companies? I have seen drawings of similar uniforms attributed to him/them.

Yes Gorham's were at Quebec but by 1761 they had changed to brown and red uniforms. Wolfe was unhappy with the rangers given to him. Gorham's were the best trained. The rest including Rogers's contingent were new recruits with not a lot of experience. The WB figure is meant to be a Gorham.

I have 7 sets of QR-01 and the highest set number I have is 109 and the lowest 19.

All 7 of my sets have "Wolf's Rangers" on the label.

As per Polarbear's comment all six companies were under Wolf's command and all wore black & blue, so the set represent these troops.

I do not know if this helps.

Regarding the QR-01
150 sets were produced.
Originally a couple of sets were sent to a store in Gettysburg. I used to do this as a test run, to make sure there were no problems with the packaging.
Once the test shipping was successfull, 30 sets were then released to dealers at the Chicago Show in September 2006, as a preview.
May 2007 all the remaining sets were released.
There are only 136 sets in circulation. many figures were damaged beyond repair ,in the delivery from the China factory.
There was only one set of labels.
