Just wondering whether the bismark-antiaircraft gun is in anyway similar to landbased antiaircraft batteries...in other words would it look completely out of place (or like a fish out of water:D:D) on top of a bunker or something like that...just wondering. It is 1/32 but looks like a nice piece

A quick internet search on the gun in question 37 mm / L83 SK-C/30 seems to only bring up links to German warships

I have often admired the one in the shop. I just have a hard time getting over the pricetag. I am sure it is worth every penny I am just cheap:eek:

I don't know if the Navy used any of these around their bunkers, but the Army 3.7cm FLAK 37 was quite different. The Kriegsmarine had responsibility for costal defense guns designed to engage warships.

I really like this piece but it scale is not 1:32........it is much closer to 1:35 scale (way too small).......I wish figarti had done this in 1:30 scale.......It would be a top seller in the right scale as the detail is great........
