Does anybody know what kind of trees and other scenics Andy uses in his dramatic displays?

I know he's posted about that before but don't remember where exactly. Do you have a particular display in mind?

Go in you back yard and cut some branches from your trees, then glue Model Railroad Lichen on them. They will turn out better than anything commercially produced. Firebat

Mainly the trees (Birch and Pines) also the rock formations with the foliage like in the ARW Indians attacking the colonial camp.
Thanks
Greg

I will post my pics soon. F&I war indians attacking mtd. British officer, highlander and soldier. I am using birch trees and others from Lemax and some dept.56. Lemax at Michaels Crafts have nice selection about 1/32 scale which I use and 56 are larger. I buy my scenery stuff after Christmas when they are on sale. Hallmark store by me has 56 trees and fences marked down 50% then. Also finishing up Barzo's woodland Indians if yard chores don't keep getting in my way. Leadmen

I know Andy uses a lot of Department 56. I know the palm trees and the fir trees he uses are by Dep't 56, but I don't know about the rest.

In the K&C Dramatic Diorama "Spoils of War,", some of the trees are Department 56 Item #52974 Village Spring/Summer Trees, and their discontinued Evergreen Pines. The tent is Britains. I think the rock formations are by JG products.:)
