Question about new set #31054 (1 Viewer)

Just received the set, and it is beautiful. However, on the box and inside certificate, it says 3 pieces. I see the obvious 2 pieces, is the sword considered the third piece.

I would imagine the 3 pieces are the wall and the two figures. They class a mounted figure as two pieces even though they are attached and not removable.
