Andy you mentioned that in developing a new line you had narrowed it to three choices.
You choose the Crusades. Could you reveal what the other two were, are were they just a different medieval time period?
Thanks, Gary

Hmmmm any possibility the New Jersey teamsters where once of the

finalists?

Hi Guys,

Re my friend “GK5715” ’s request for me to reveal the other two great ideas beaten out by “CRUSADER”.

Sadly, I’m keeping them under wraps because they are, in my opinion, still great ideas that K&C will produce at a later date.

Why hand them on a plate to K&C’s competitors for them to produce. Sorry but that’s business.

What I can confirm is that they were not other medieval subjects of a different time period but as Monty Python would say “Something completely different…”

I can also positively confirm they were not going to be “New Jersey Teamsters” – sorry John.

On another front…World War Two European Campaign has always been the most popular among WW2 collectors…however being a former Marine myself (Royal that is) I’ve always had a soft spot for Iwo Jima and the Pacific battles. I do believe, in years to come, because of the overall quantities produced are smaller this series will be appreciated and collected more than it has been up until now. But I can assure collectors that as far as K&C is concerned it certainly was no failure. I’m sure Rick of Figarti would back me up on this one.

By the by I can’t wait to pick up some FOV 105 howitzers at the show – there’s none available in HK.

And, once more let me praise “Panzer’s” conversion work on our Eighth Army and Afrika Korps figures – well done!

So, that’s the story so far…have to go up to China this morning to visit our Sculpting Studio…see the new stuff…and hand over the latest designs for December and January releases.

Best wishes and…happy collecting!
