Hi Rob & The Gang.
First of all a big thanks for all the kind and appreciative comments about our D.Day and ‘Bulge’ ranges.
I’m looking forward to displaying our latest BOB GI’s at the Chicago Show next week. Also showing will be ‘Fields of Battle’ Dunkirk and our latest King’s German Legion Rifle Brigade figures plus a couple of nice surprises!!! Oh and the brand–new ‘WINTER TIGER’.
As for the ‘Pegasus Bridge’ sets. They won’t be released until well into 2006 and unfortunately any ‘sneak previews’ would be a wee bit premature now or even in December at the London show. As for the size of the range or extent of it – I’m afraid that’s CLASSIFIED for the moment.
But just use your imagination and look at other K&C WWII series and you’ll get the idea.
‘CREATIVE BRAINSTORM SESSION’
Yesterday, the entire day and part of the night was spent ‘brainstorming’ K&C’s releases for 2006. Our creative team went over all our existing product lines to see what could be added to – when, where and how many!
At the same time we discussed a whole bunch of brand–new ideas and concepts – including quite a few collector’s suggestions and requests (sorry, no demands).
Finally we boiled them all up in a great big stew and served them up in nice monthly packages that will take us all the way up to December 2006 (and a bit beyond).
Obviously I’m not going to jump up and down and shout from the rooftops exactly what we’re going to produce and when. But I can tell you it’s very, very exciting and there’s nobody on this forum who will feel left out or disappointed.
At the end of the day we were all mentally and physically exhausted, but elated at the same time.
Honestly, I believe the 2006 releases will be our very best yet.
On that note I’ll say…
Adios for now.
Best wishes and … happy collecting.
