Andy, I always find myself wishing that the Napoleonics line had more than just figures. I always admire the WW2 vehicles and wish my collection had a little more depth. I know that during the Napoleonic era there were no tanks but.....do you think there may be a chance for an artillery piece limbered with 2 horses and troops or a rocket unit...I suggested the hospital scene which you thought was a good idea...did the group like the idea? I 'm not sure what else could be made to enhance the series. I love the series just thought it would be nice. I love the farm house you made it adds a whole new life to my collection I really hope more buildings forts, gun emplacements are made. Can you speak on this topic and let me(us) know if all of these are just pipe dreams or reality. I know if anyone can pull this off it would be K&C...if the series had this type of depth I think it would attract even more Napoleonic collectors.......

Oh yes a camp scene with tents fire, guys cooking etc would be interresting as well.

Cheers

Oh yes I almost forgot...perhaps some troops having hand to hand fighting......:p
Not sure if they had wagons for supplies or transporting the wounded but that would be neat as well.

Yes wellington they did have wagon trains and they also had ambulances and forge wagons bridging equipment and all kinds of other stuff but a limber had 6 and sometimes 8 horses not 2 are you tring to give them a heart attack:D . The french had less of this stuff as they lived off the land for the most part but the british generals had chandeliers and fine china and all the other snotty gentalmen stuff of the day. The british sometimes had there wives on campaign. Napoleon had his own little rollsroice (I know i butchered that spelling) of a wagon himself . It would be cool to have some civillians also maybe a country farm house scene. You,d have to make a farm house also:D .

I knew that artillery had more than two horses to pull a limbered gun but I think 6 horses or more would be too big for anyone to want to collect. Just thought if it was kept at a reasonablr size it would be more practical.

Wellington......;)

Wellington, you'd be surprised at how many Britains Civil War six-horse artillery sets I've sold over the years. They don't take up as much space as you'd think.

Really.....perhaps its a good idea then...I hope we get a chance to own one one day......:)

Napoleon had his Guard Infantry piled into wagons and carts in order to move them quickly across Europe from camps along the English Channel to the frontier of Austria in the Austerlitz campaign. That might make an interesting set, some Grumblers of the Old Guard getting hauled around in some farmer's ox cart.
