Question, K&C D-Day Airborne comparison - old with even older (1 Viewer)

Hi, how do the older D-day airborne sets (DD021 US paratroopers and 025 Fighting Patrol) match up with the more recent but still old DD073 Souvenir Hunters and DD074 Reach for the Sky??

I think I must have a touch of OCD as I like my men to look fairly uniform and the older sets don't appear to be as crisp.....

Any advice or observations welcome.

Those first generation of paras don't compare well with the second generation, of which DD 74 was the last, but the new ones go very well with the second generation.
