I was wondering if anyone knew , would the fire line that set up like the one in the picture would be accurate or would there be a separation of soldier type. For example the Fusilier would be in thire own line, the Grenadier's would be in their own.... and so on. Thanks
Tommy

6 Companies as French Organization for Line units. x 4 Fusilier and x 1 each Light Co and Grenadiers, Grenadiers on the right. No doubt there were disordered units in battle.I think the image just shows the whole new line in one pic.

The picture is just representative of multiple companies. Like the Brits, in real life, the companies would be spaced out with the possibility of the Voltigeurs being dispersed and acting as skirmishers in front of the line infantry. Grenadiers and Voltigeurs (or Grenadiers and Lights for the Brits would be on the flanks). That said, it's a fabulous group of minis, and the average person like your brother or wife will just look at them and say that looks beautiful!

As folks have pointed out, the image Tommy attached simply shows one of each figure in the release formed together in firing line. A slightly more accurate image might be this one which, even though it's still scaled down tremendously, gives more of a feel of a full battalion in line with the voltigeurs formed on the left and grenadiers on the right.
