I know the Blitz hasn't reached market yet (I can't wait), but since the canvas top is supposed to be able to come off the vehicle, I'm wondering if the truck bed has benches for seating-and if so, I'm wondering if the WS 53 and WS 54 seated figs would work as potential passengers.

I'm hoping someone who has some 'inside scoop' might be able to share their thoughts on this.

Good question. I'm sure Andy will see it and respond. If it works, sounds like future business for Alex.

If they don't work, it is a natural to produce seated figure sets for both the European and desert versions. Also, how about sets of vehicle loads with figures either loading or unloading the trucks..................

That sounds a very good idea, there is lots of potential with these trucks.Ican imagine just two or three would look really good in a dio.Tony has said he will have these at the show in March, and i for one don't think i'll be able to resist.

I asked a similar question re if it was possible for K&C to post a photo of the Blitz with the covers off. I think several of my posts vanished with the server change over. Would the truck have hoops to hold the canvas top?
Out of interest does anyone Know when these trucks came into service. I have not seen any photos of them being used in the spring of 1940.

RAMC, my recollection is that they started production in the 1930's and were certainly used early in the war. I'd bet that a 'feld grau' early war version will be forthcoming-but that's just my speculation.

Now I hope K&C releases a Blitz with the 20mm flak mounted on the bed-from the already produced Flakpanzer. I had a sixth scale version of this configuration and it was sweeeet. ;)

Did I miss something, are we just assuming the tops come off or do we know for certain that they do? Did I miss something?

Cool Brad,

Thanks for the clearification. I look forward in getting both of them.

Carlos,

I'll be very interested to see what you and Kevin do with them in your dios. Looking forward to seeing that.
