Yo Troopers just bought these from the US. Just four RHA in pose as you can see. They were listed as Steadfast but no name on box just RHA set SF 19. So I had a word with Bob from RP World Models ex Steadfast, he tells me they were made special for the US for Stone Castle. Question who or what are Stone Castle, any of you US guys know.
Bernard.

I think I remeber seeing a seller on ebay called Stone Castle Imports.

Found this on the net pertaining to them, never dealt with them. I think I remember the shipping being pricey  Nice set of figures though Bernard.

Hi Bernard,

They are still around and are in Kentucky. I have delt with them in the past and I agree with britfarmer they are a little on the pricey side. Nice looking set.

All the best

Yo Scott & Dave cheers for the info, just wondered why they were made special for the US, being a British Regiment. Got to get a 13 pdr Gun now to go with them, as per instructions from Artillary Crazy. Any offers lol.

Yo Jeff, cheers mate will have a look, it looks good, and now its BACON & EGG TIME lol.
Bernard.:D

What again!??

Btw, the gun is part of the RHA set I painted for Brad last year. If you want one I can get it for you and I may have enough Green paint left to give it a quick lick of the distemper brush. :D:D

Jeff

My father did a lot of business with Stone Castle over the years. At the shop there was a set of the RHA just like those. Do not know if they are still there.

Yo Jeff , yes would like one if you could get one & the box, but Wraith reckons your Green paint is very exspensive now, so give me a quote for GREEN.
Bernard.

Bernard -- F.Y.I. -- take a look at the RHA in Review Order on page 16 of the Britains catalogue on the Treefrog site.

The gun is from the old Premier by Biggs line which Steadfast/ RP models now produces. these are some of the best guns made.

Stone Castle Imports was a toy store in Louisville, KY. I was a patron of the store from 1986 to 1991. My Father, Brother and I gave them a lot of money in those years. At that time they sold Imperial and Steadfast. They had several sets commissioned for the store by Steadfast. Later they started carrying Trophy. The owner used to have Toy Soldier Museum that was very nice. It had tons of soldiers plastic to lead..Marx, Britains, Mignot...you name it. They moved to a new location in the Mid 90's and sold Britains Premier series. They stopped selling Britains around the time First Gear took over. They had there website up selling old Britains sets from the 80's and the remaining instocks of the Ertl lines. About 2 years ago..the site went away..and stopped being updated...
