I have several molds and misc tools and odds and ends that I am trying to put a value on. The molds have not been used and one is still in its plastic wrap. I priced these online at $30 each. Any help would be appreciated. The wood boxes are probably worth $25 each. I am looking to sell these items but do not know what to ask for them.

Thank you

These moulds are all currently available. The set up kit of ladles etc is £14.45, the three mould set for the Guards is £16.45 which seems to be the averege price for all of their range. Hope this helps. Trooper

As Trooper pointed out, these Prins August molds are all still currently available, and since these are used, I'd say that you could price them at 50% of their retail value.

You could try selling them at their current retail price, but you probably wouldn't be able to move them.

If you're looking for a value for insurance purposes, the current retail price would probably be the baseline, that is, what you'd have to pay to replace them.

For the boxes, it's completely speculative. They appear to be hand-made. If I saw them on a table at a flea market, I'd offer the dealer $10 for them, and the haggling would begin.

Prost!

There you go. That's why we have to educate ourselves as buyers.

So, 50% of retail for the PA molds, and $10 for the lot of the boxes.

Thanks for all the help. So would $25 for everything be a fair asking price?

I have a 13 year old son who would be VERY interested at that price.

Hi There

At that price you would be giving them away! $50 to $65 is a better starting price for a bulk auction like this. There is a market for the paint and collect figures you have in the photo as well and I would sell those seperately probably for about $15 for the pair.
I would be interested in them if you are wanting to part with them seperately from the rest of the lot.

Dave
