I am looking for one of these sets, however there only seems to be one seller in the UK online (SP Models) who has one and they are charging £6.50 postage on top of the £11.50 for the set.

I've already bought one of these sets for £9.00 including postage but that retailer is unfortunately now out of stock. (I know this is a particularly good price).

Does anyone know of another source for buying these with a reasonable postage charge or is £17.00 / £18.00 the going rate?

Probably won't help much but there is a shop in Glasgow called Jamiesons Models which sell this set, but they don't have an online website I don't think

I just went on the website shown below and seen the VAT tax,17.50!Now that is alot of tax,even more then our state tax (7% in NJ).Whose paws get there hands on that.
