Who bought one?

And how will you display it?

JPB

I would like to buy one, but at this point I can not justify the cost. If I only I did not have that mortgage payment and other bills.

It is a great set, I saw at the Figarti Lunch, it would be a great set to own.

Mine is on the way from China. I hope to receive it in a couple of weeks.

Congrats' Carlos. I hope to be able to get one also, however, I have to enlarge the attic area over the garage and turn it into a 600ft ManCave.
Have fun. O.C.

Congrats on your purchase-it truly looks like a magnificant item. I hope you'll post some pics once you get it set up.

Here it is. I received it a couple of days ago. I haven't completely unpackd it but it looks to be exceedingly well packed.

Aren't you supposed to wait until Christmas day? ;)

Looks impressive. Look forward to seeing it fullt set up.

Oops, I just had to slip this baby in for the last time. It's a repaint of an HB Panther by Mark at Build-A-Rama.

wow..
thats a magnifique panther Carlos..

how much did he charge for the paint job?
i may follow your excellent piece.

Okay guys,

My "Battle of Berlin" display has been taken down from on top my fireplace mantle in my office and I have just finished erecting the Figarti K5 in it's place. I haven't dressed up the diorama around it and it's Christmas necessitating that I prepared for our annual family Christmas dinner. So, I'll post pictures later.

However, here are some of my immediate observations:

1. The K5 and accessories can WITHOUT damage in perhaps the best packing I've seen from Figarti or any other manufacturing
2. It was surprisingly easy to assemble. That was unbelievable
3. Once erected, the K5 on rails is striking and really doesn’t require any surrounding diorama to accentuate it.
4. Yes, the K5 GUN DOES elevate! COOL!
5. The detailing is truly the closest to the modeling world’s best considering this was developed for the discerning toy soldier collector
6. The packing is reusable. I believe I’ll be able to pack it up again for storage as I rotate my displays from time to time
7. I love camo pattern and detailed decal lettering
8. The figures are true 1/30th scale
9. For those who haven’t seen this piece in person all wood items (planks, railroad ties, etc.) are made from REAL WOOD!
10. The railroad track and other metal details, will you guessed are made from real metal material
11. The rocks scattered around the base of the rails are real rocks.
12. Weathering is superb

Okay, it may sound like I’m a real “homer” but who cares because I’m enjoying the experience of seeing it in my home office daily and having the knowing this isn’t likely to be ever built again. In word…this is great “Shock and Awe” surprise that I will continue to enjoy for sometime in the future.

Merry Christmas,

Carlos

Well, here are some pics of this magnificent beast. It’s in my home office on the fireplace mantle. I love it and as you can see I have a mix of other manufacturers WWII figures and it works just fine.

What do you think?
