This may sound a bit like Mr Gamble but what the heck.
We've had the Jeep ambulance (great model). We've had the motorbike ambulance. I wish we could have an Austine ambulance in RAF, Western desert or European paint scheme. Of course you would have to also have the RAF or even dare I say it RAMC crew and may be a wounded stretcher patient too!:p

I'm 100% with you on these ideas. The old wood RAF Austin K2 Ambulances are great pieces, but I would love to see one done in todays level of quality with clear windshield and windows, interior details, and (dare I hope) opening rear doors with a stretcher compartment.

Sounds like its straight from the set of Battle of Britain, would love this as its very evocative of that period. And then of course theres Bowsers,Fire engines, ground crew, fitters oh the possibillities. In fact lets have a complete and detailed B.O.B airfield!

Just put the Austin K2 in google and it would appear it was used on the Eastern front and just about sold every where before hostilities started. The possibilities are endless it's surely time for a polistone K2!:)
