I'm working on a new Pacific diorama from Tarawa.
Re paint the kc set DD 147 From the big red one, on Omaha beach Normandy. To the second Marine Corps, the Pacific island of Tarawa.

Very nice repaint and you took away the base, well done.:salute:: How did you do that? with a flame under the base it goes away?

In another other thread I mentioned that I "HOPED" that K&C will come out with WWII Pacific Marines.
But if not, you might find yourself very busy.

Yes that's the right method. That is how I do it . A flame under the base for 10-20 seconds and the base can be easily removed.

Nice conversion Harrie and a smart idea on how to remove an unwanted base from a figure, never thought of that one..!!!. I guess that also works for standing/kneeling figures, Good idea for turning some infantry figures into tank riders..!!
