Nothing of the Rome series is part of the 'End of the Run Remainders'...Sorry, it's still relatively new.

I had a look through what was in the sale and cannot really see much of a framework. They are remainder figures/sets that did not sell as well as others, i have bought twice from K & C using the sale, but lately the sale discounts have gone down, with figures now having around $6, with some as low as $3 or $4 each. Which has not made it worth it buying a third time.

Still i am grateful for the discount and managed to pick up some great pieces.

Surely it depends on what you want to buy...There’s more than a fair number of excellent deals still available across the board on a whole range of series but I guess as the old Stones song says, “You can’t always get what you want...but I hope you got what you came for...”

Cheers, i will raise a glass of Iron Brew and have a Tunnock's Tea Cake and see if i can get some Soor plooms [always a fav] when i am up there in a week or so. I am having a wander around the Antonine Wall sites, easy to self distance up there, staying near Bowness. All outdoors stuff.

I did pick up some pieces i was missing in my collection, but i had a lot of the others or did not collect that range that was included in the reminder sale, what i received are excellent and am looking at others but am waiting for it to be enough to justify an order, there are some of the newer sets where the discount, for me, does not make it worth it, $3 to $6 when taking into consideration is not worth it for me. Especially when some dealers are passing on the discounts and the way the £ is doing against the $.

I hear a rumour of a new Sherman Firefly? will it a new mould or re-issuing of the previous excellent Firefly?

Would you also consider doing a new run of the desert religious building again.


I think i also speak for many collectors, thanks for being an active member of the forum and answering our questions and enquiries, no matter how inane and/or infuriating.
