Hi all,

There were quite a few very nice zulu war range highlighted, but it has been close to a year since they were put up on as upcoming, anyone know why such a delay

At the very least there would have to be factory issues. No factory can afford to sit around producing nothing for a year or more, they would have to move on to more lucrative contracts and possibly changing their staff with different skills, leaving Britain's to scrounge around for a window of opportunity to push for a limited release of some of their 80 odd outstanding sculpts and hope the factory/s still have the talent on board. It's a shame, because they were a big contributor to our hobby. I was a regular buyer, but nothing for several years now. Time will tell. Robin.

Thanks Robin

Agree mate they were fantastic and always looked forward to them even the exclusives to Sierra Toy Soldier never appeared, they are just as frustrated I bet

all the best
Trevor

The answer is simple, poorly managed company.

I’m wondering how many threads we need like this. The point about their management, pro and con, has been made several times. One more thread isn’t going to change anything.

I agree, but this is an open forum and it is open and the participants decide. This has been going on for 2 to 3 years and there has been no change.

It’s an open forum owned by Julie and she has made her position clear on these types of threads.

The thread started with a question, see below, due to the lack of 'official' information we can only give our own opinion, some, most, are negative because of the lack of delivery of figures and the manufacturer's silence of the forum, which is the leading worldwide TS information and discussion forum. I do know what can be expected from a forum except opinions based on the situation and what is happening with other manufacturers.

I understand how you feel as product is slow in coming and the company has decided not to interact with collectors on this forum. Fourth Hussar is probably right that’s it up to Julie to close the discussion or make a statement if she so wishes.

Agree but as long as it does not get personal then it is OK, plus hasn't the US of A got a free speech ideal! As I said as long as it does not get abusive then it is OK, as the saying goes, everyone has an opinion, like everyone has an A***ole, just some are bigger than others [this is written in jest, just to be clear].

I really don't think we continue to need more threads about "Where is the product?" When it arrives, it will be here.

I am reminded of a saying my boss from a previous employer always said:
"You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar."

Being kind and respectful will garner you many rewards in life, just my opinion!

Julie
