We are polishing off our old, dusty Transformers and preparing to open JJD's Wellington in India (appr. 40 men, 10 horses).

I would like to present Little big horn...
40 Amerindian horsemen (TM, K&C and JJD) around fifteen soldiers of the 7th cavalry, mounted and dismounted strewn with dead horses...
I would also like to present the battle of Kadesh with all the chariots and the Egyptian infantry, the Nubians, Libyans facing the Lukkas and their war chariot flanked by Amazon cavalry!
I hope to find the time and take good photos..

John's "Wellington in India" series is top notch. I had only collected a few pieces, but I didn't want to miss out and ended up collecting the rest. I have a team of oxen, limber, driver, and 24-pdr that I hope to mount on a diorama base this holiday.

I think John O'Brien mentioned a while ago that John Jenkins was considering adding Maratha guns to the series. Mybe we will see a preview in the Advent calendar?

We put our Ottomans and Maltese Knights in a curio. They look much meaner comin' at you. No chance of a pic, though, due to glare.
We will start opening our "mere" 23 boxes Friday and post as we go. Otherwise we risk destroying Christmas with loads of something in which Mom has little interest.
Also, we found lots of Dinky Toy buses. Fun to see & clean off.
