Hi Napoleon1er,

They are from the 1948 Arab-Israeli war and modeled after the Israeli jeep unit known as 'Sampson's foxes,' however, they could also be used for the unit known as the 'Negev beasts' who participated in operation Horev. I commissioned the jeep from Bruce and sent him photographs of this unit. Below are some of the photographs that served as the basis for the model.

Thankfully, Bruce is open to doing this type of subject matter and he did an outstanding job!

I have wanted someone to do War of Independence stuff for a long time now. I really would like to do a convoy, Ammunition Hill, or the Fall of Kfar Etzion, but I doubt anyone will do those.

Thanks to Benjamin for getting this started with Bruce. I got a PM from Benjamin asking if I'd be interested and without a second hesitation said yes! The result is even better than what I imagined!
I would definitely be a buyer if this were to become a "line" of figures!
I got one Jeep and once i see it in person, I have a strong suspicion I'll be emailing Bruce to get the other version as well
