Should not be annoyed but am.
Won a number of sets from a seller, private seller, on ebay. he did offer combined P & P. with limited access to my account in the following few days [work gets in the way], i just paid and sent a message saying please refund discount for postage. Postage was 2nd class which normal takes 3 or 4 days, which i am fine with, instead he pays for 1st class special delivery, next day before 12 noon. I am out at work anyway so cannot be in and the parcel just gets sent to my closest postal delivery centre, with note through the door telling me what happened. As i am at work it is 4 days until i can get to collect them.* The ironic thing is i heard from my postie that they will not leave special delivery with a neighbour, so they always go back to the post delivery centre, whereas 2nd class parcels they will knock on a neighbours door to see it they will take it and i would have been saved a 4 mile round trip to the post office.
I had highlighted that i was fine with 2nd class, so no postal refund, which would have been around £9, which was over 25% off one set. Not a lot of money, but every little helps.
* Getting it redelivery is a waste of time, as you have to wait in for them to deliver, which could be a window of upto 4 hours and less than than an hour to collect.
As i said first world problem, but as a friend said still a problem or hassle no matter where you live.
