KnC had produced dead/killed WW2 soldiers from French, German and Americans.

I was watching APOCALYPSE 16101382_300x300_1.jpg today and in the "Making Section" saw a 1 min graphic clip of 3 dead French (I think) tank crews being pulled/lifted out from a damaged Sherman tank

The images are very gory and graphic - but this is the real war.

Tank diver lost the head, one tank crews big hole in side of the chest and the last one in one piece but with blood dripping from the body.

1. Would KnC go to such "dark themes"

2. and would such pieces sell ?

Only time will tell.... {sm2}

I for one would not go that far down the "reality" path.

Yes, causalities are a major aspect of war.
Dead or wounded soldiers are part of a battlefield, but there is a definite line on a real diorama and gore for gore's sake.

K&C has produce a few shot or dead soldiers, but they are handled with a sense of decorum. Although not my era there are some Roman sets where the soldier has lost his head, a bit to much in my opinion.

John Jenkins and First Legion have many dead or wounded in theire offerings and are a bit more graphic, albeit still being inside the accepted guidelines.

If you look at the most popular Dioramas they tend to be more "peaceful" or sometimes pre-battle.

Just my thoughts on this Monday evening .... --- Larry

I agree with Larry......
After all the hobby is for our kids also....
Having said that, nothing stops one buying stock offerings and doing the necessary changes to " fit a more realistic dio of their own taste"....
Cheers

Found only CS has a piece featuring a dead tanker.

I guess that's the "furthest" these TS manufacturer can go.....
