Today on the history channel I watched some of the WWII documentary: WWII in HD.....Actual footage in color both in Europe and the Pacific...Talk about sobering....Between commercials I was fipping to an old movie: The Battle of the Bulge...with Robert Shaw, Henry Fonda, and Telly Savalas....complete Hollywood nonsence....The allied tanks were all Pershings and the german tanks were Grey painted Pershings....I forgot just how silly that movie was......WWII in HD is a fantastic documentary a must see especially this Memorial Day....Great Thanks to all the Veterans who fought and died for our Freedom

Germans were Pattons & the Americans used Walker Bulldogs I think

M24 Chaffees for the US tanks.
Well, supposedly, at least 2 Chaffees made it / got diverted to the Ardennes, so a little more realistic than the German M47s
For all it's inaccuracies, I still enjoy the film. I just take it for what it is, a bit of a Hollywood war romp.
