They arrived yesterday afternoon and my first chance to check them out was this morning. In my personal opinion these Pathers are stunning, very very nice. Great weathered paint finish, nicely detailed, I love the rusty, worn down metal look of the tracks. One thing that suprised me was the figures. They look good and great poses. I was iffy on getting all 3 but once I set them up next to each other its like one complete set. 3 different turret numbers, 3 different figure sets one great idea.

Honour Bound, I love the 3 Panther sets, Great work. I notice some of your projects are very unique. I'm looking forward to your future releases.

I purchased these sets from Bill Sager, you all know Bill. Great guy, . He shipped them up to me here in Toronto Canada very well packaged, arrived safe and sound. just wanted to say thank you.

Ditto. And the Winter, Soviet, and "Infrared" Panthers are in the works. The Winter version looks even better to me. The figures also look much improved.

Hi Toricda and welcome,

Maitland is listed in the website of HB as a dealer. I will contact R.D. to pre-order the winter Panther.

Pierre.

I agree with you about the figures. In respect of that matter you may had already take knowledge of my question to Ana and her reply in the thread entitled HB future projects - sneak preview.

Pierre.

I took some pios of the HB Panther as I opened the first one. The other 2 were packed the same. I'm posting some pics for those who may be interested on how they are packed.

This screw holds the Panther to the base. You will need a small flat head screwdriver to remove it. Take caution when you do this, make sure you hold the Panther firmly by its sides in one hand as you unscrew it Couple of the screws were pretty tight.

TORICDA,

Thank you for having the foresight enough to take some pictures of each of your steps in dismantling the complicated packing material to liberate the HB Panther.

It's a great tank and the packing does protect it during the shipping process but it's complicated repacking it for storage purposes.

Thanks again,

Carlos

One issue I find in regards to repacking is how am I going to secure the tank in the box. Having to rescrew the tank to the base just to store it, forget that noise. If you don't secure it somehow the tank will shift and something will break. I have a reupholster not to far away from me that I'll visit to get some med-density foam to place around the tank while I have them stored.

I'd like to suggest to HB that they add some spounge foam around the tanks. The screw is ok for shipping but a pain in the a$$
