Wowsers... so much for the economic impacts on the secondary toy soldier market!
Was watching a few of the older sets (#1-15; i.e. pre-1985) on ebay recently and a few of them went for some appreciable funds.
These early sets so pale in comparison to the Cowes' later works, but there is something quite special about being able to watch the progression of David's skill as a sculpter from the early days up until the more recent pieces.
As such, a few of these early sets are among my favs from the whole collection.
Anyway, guard well your old timey Imperial sets... they seem to be holding their monetary values well.
