As stated, recieved Winter Horsedrawn Field Kitchen, Winter Food Line and Field Kitchen today. Well packaged with no damaged pieces. Had some issues getting the tape and bubble wrap off the figures without bending things, but even that worked out. Well detailed and painted. It lacks the K/C bright paint scheme and look, but was not shaded too dark to be distracting. They size up almost perfect to K/C figures and in general their style fits right in to my K/C pieces....Have attached some bad photos with a K/C piece inserted for compare...Thanks, HB....Michael

Charlie,

There are no stupid questions, only people too full of themselves to take the time to answer. I hope on this forum you won't run into any of that. In answer to your question, the Winter Field Kitchen is made by an Argentinian Company called "Honour Bound", who make some of the finest 1:30 scale vehicles in polystone and metal available today. The owners of this company also own the glossy Toy Soldier company "Beau Geste". Their stuff, because of the higher production costs in Argentina than in China, tends to be a bit expensive, but not prohibtively so. Look on our host's website, click on "Honour Bound", and you can see their many excellent products, with prices.

Regards,

Louis

Charlie,

Thanks Guys What wonderfull figures. Makes mine look like toys but I guess they are:) I always wanted a field kitchen but looks like i need to win the lottery first. I will just have to build one out of wood. Truly amazing the detail they get in there figures. Guess I am stuck with playing with my toys for now.:(
Charlie
Thanks again guys for learning me things.:)

Welcome aboard Charlie. I'm fairly new here as well-it's a GREAT place to learn about this hobby.
I can tell you from my limited experience you'll really appreciate the detail that goes into the Honour Bound pieces (as well as other companies). My winter field kitchen just arrived today and it's pretty awesome. I've also got the set w/o the horses and they go great together.
Just close your eyes, hit 'purchase' on the website-and hide your credit card statements from your wife. :D
