Caught the Army's new commercials to encourage people to try to become officers and I was wondering, do other nations do similar commercials to ours?

And to any former members of the British military, how does one become an officer in your military? I know its not by purchasing commissions anymore and I know you have some schools like Sandhurst, but what about those who dont make it in to college?

I liked the recruiting rock video for the National Guard that's shown at movie theaters. But as I'm 57 the recruiting appeal is wasted. My 13 year old daughter thought it was "cool."

The US Marines across America one is quite beautiful.

Funny that they show recruiting ads late at night on Cartoon Network during "Adult Swim."

the indian army one looked the most attractive..the add showed people yachting, horse riding , fencing and playing golf and just a brief bit of parading around ..sign me up

I think you have to be in Bollywood dance numbers as well.

The Russian film made it look like you go from Mama to a hot woman. They left out the drunken hazing from the NCOs. (I worked with two Russian Jews who were Soviet vets)
