Another one of these must-see Korusawa b/w movies under the Criterion collection.
I found it quite interesting but it is not in the same catergory as Seven Samurai or Rashomon. One of the quirks about these Kurosawa movies is that Toshiro Mifune screentime is equally shared with his co-stars. In these three mentioned movies, he is NOT the main actor.
