For the Russian victory celebration parade in 2010 there are some photos posted at;

Some interesting shots of Russian military hardware all nice and clean. This year some NATO units came to Red Square to march along with the Russians.

Thay also had a slew of old T34/85s and SU100s running.

Wow, you have to love the T34/85s they brought out to show off.

When I was in Moscow a few weeks ago they had billboards all around the city with pictures from the war. Interesting that there seems to be little or no interest here in the US. The parade in Moscow actually occurs on May 9 due to the time difference between Germany and Moscow. Most westerners recognize the end of the war as May 8. Article from the Moscow Times:

I understand there were some SU100s also. Interesting that these are government-owned running vehicles, while in the USA we have a few runners at the Patton Museum but would have to rely on private collectors for any others.

I think its interesting too. I heard a rumor from some guys I knew in the intell world that the Russians had a ton of stuff like these vehicles in various eastern bloc countries in big warehouses just waiting for the Cold War to get hot. There was talk of a ton of artillery and T34's and other equipment. I often wondered if it was true but seeing those tanks in the photo makes me think it may have been true.
