Richard & Ken, I like what your doing with the Redcoats collection . I purchased the 1755 Foot Guard officer and 1822 private yesterday. I see there are several more 1755 figures coming out this year to go with the original figure that came out last year. Are you going to be coming out with officers, NCO's,drummers, etc. for all of the figures? That would be nice because you could build sets. I must say ,since you guys took over, you seem to be making good decisions in trying to please all Britains collectors.

I agree with the previous post, however, how about producing them in a matte finish.
Benjamin

Thank You so Much!
I am glad that you like the new Redcoats and hope you take a look at the new Bluecoats range also. We decided to pick a period and add the Officers, NCOs, Ensigns with flags, Pioneers, Musicians, ect. to see if folks would be interested in this approach.
The British army in the early Georgian period in colorful and to a certain degree under represented so we decided to start with 1755. There will be additional specialties and branches of service to add to the ones you already see... and you may have noticed some Provencials for service in North America in the Bluecoats range ca. 1755.
If this is supported by sales, and the early indications are that it will be, then we will do this with other periods also.
There are no plans to offer these same figures in a matt finish, but we may visit some of these same subjects as all new sculpts for our other matt ranges.
The next catalog will include several new single figures packages in the matt range that will display well alone, or in vignettes.
Hope this helps, Ken Osen

Ken thanks for the response and the info. Hopefully the sales for these will be good. I know they sell out pretty fast from my local shop.
