I've never posted this before. This piece was made about 30 years back and I've decided that it is timely to redo it on a smaller footprint. As can be seen, it occupies a large footprint for just a couple of figures. It represents the Penan natives of Borneo.
So this is what is looks like now.

So this is the proposed smaller footprint as requested by the enduser. As can be seen, The tree trunk length has to be cut down to fit. About 6 cm was cut off.

I decided to redo the tree bark to give it more character.

I've covered the tree with putty and sculpted some bark all over to create surface interest. Added a still healthy branch - so this tree has just keeled over.

I placed the tree and figures on the smaller base. Then decided to add a height to the stump of the tree for the final composition.
