Hi Modellers,
I am looking for a modeller who can do some remodelling of 60mm metal figures, in Australia if possible but happy to send project overseas.
I have a number of Patriot Brunswickers here in my collection.
They are of the Leib-Battaillion with horse hair plumes on there shakos.
I am trying to set up a attack line, but Patriot stop producing figures a couple of years ago.
There are 6 poses in the figures I have.
If you do not know the Patroit figures are approx 5 to 10mm bigger than most other std 54 to 60mm figures.
So finding figures to go with them is very hard.
I am wanting to remodelling some of the figures to produce the poses missing from the attack line.
But my skills at doing this I am sorry to say are limited.
I am interested in having someone have a look at the figures and see what can be done with them.
You can see the 6 poses below.
I assume it all comes down to how easy the figures come apart.
I assume the arms are plug arms, the rifles all look like they will come off with a little work.
After that the big chalange is to repaint them in same style.
Figures I am looking for are as follows.
- Officer (this one will not be easy, need repaint, remaking of uniform, arms moved, sword & scabbed)
- Drummer (this one a little easier, need drum, repaint, arms moved)
- Flagbearer (I know the Lieb-Battailion had no flags but what is a regiment without a couple of flag, history be d***ed).
- Sergeants (could turn any figure into this with strips, but different pose would be nice)
- Wounded (this is an interesting one and would be pretty easy I should think, arm in air and a bit of a repaint)
- Any other pose that we could make out of the existing poses.
If anyone things they can do a professional job of the above let me know, I am happy to pay a reasonable cost for the project.
I have already approached John O'Brien here in WA Australia and he is flat out, so if you know a good modeller drop me a PM or email me on montystoysoldiers@netspace.net.au
Let me know if you are interested in have a look at them.
Regards
