Over the last few years, we’ve gotten some excellent WWII German aircraft models from John Jenkins, but strangely, he hasn’t made any new figures to accompany them. There’s also a dearth of proper 1/30 scale Luftwaffe figures in general. Consequently, I decided to create my own using John’s Spanish Civil War/Condor Legion pilot figures as my starting point… They look close enough to WWII Luftwaffe pilots, so I decided to keep the jackets the same and repaint the hats and trousers to an appropriate blue color.

While there are a few small inaccuracies, I think the customized figures came out pretty good and definitely look the part!

Nice work! I love John's work, but sometimes I wonder how he balances so many different series with such a small team.

Condor Legion was released years ago Brendan. Nothing new here other than tmans excellent paint job of updating the designs to his own needs.
John has released some excellent work over the years some coming into fashion again like these and some not as yet !

Nicely repainted figurines to add to your beautiful aircraft display. I'm sure John will add more aircrew in time.

Cheers,
Grey
