A horse: Iris XVI, favorite of soon to be Maréchal Leclerc. He is actually the one responsible for Leclerc's limp back in 1936 when Leclerc got dismounted by him. He gave the same treatment to and actually killed a German soldier when a German officer asked for the horse to be brought to him in June 1940 when the Germans captured him. Upon the death of the soldier, the officer got the horse shot for act of resistance
