Haha, I was waiting for someone to ask that given the photos I posted. Believe it or not and just like buses, I managed to buy a collection from someone that had both these pieces in so ended up with doubles!

I was thinking about my own colection though and whether I should be exclusively Brits and not have the Canuck Staghound and whether the funds from the Brit Sherman would be better spent on the Spitfire or upcoming Typhoon. My funds are pretty much dried up now so in order to get one I think I have to sacrifice something and those two pieces are for want of a better word, my least favourite of the D-Day sets, I much prefer the Churchill, cromwell and Firefly.

Hope you get a good price on those Chris, its hard sometimes to make decisions about what to keep and what to sell but it all helps further your collection the direction you want it to go.

Thanks mate, I think the collection would still look great without them. With my new plan to collect mainly tanks, I will be getting the US 'classic' Sherman anyway, so I think two Shermans in my overall collection will be enough.

Hopefully gievn the rarity of the items I should get a good price for them, I have them on ebay also. Depending how these sales go, I guess that will make up my mind whether to sell my own pieces.
