Does a retired King and Country data base exist somewhere? I picked up a DD075 and I can't find it listed anywhere (that I have looked anyway) Can someone tell me about it?

Thanks to mikemiller1955, I found the information on that website, the sager King and Country D-Day file would not open.

it's a shame this data base is no longer being updated...

Sager's will open...it just takes a few seconds sometimes...

Don mate,
I have over the years with my love of K&C products and the help of young Patrick when he was at K&C developed a fairly accurate data base. The product you listed is:

DD075 US Jeep Patrol Released June, 2007 Retired May 2011

I hope this helps. Cheers Howard

Hi Mike,

I plan on updating it. Just need to get some time to play catch up. Saved the data as dispatched occurred, but haven't put it in yet.

Rich...

the job you did on both the K&C and JJD database...was the best quick reference I have ever seen...

stock #...picture...price...release date...you did a fantastic job...I know it must be overwhelming to keep it updated...

I told you once before...that I referred to your website as "The Bible" for K&C and JJD...and recommended it to many collectors as the best site for data and photo...

I won't lie...I have sorely missed your updates...

I know it's a labor of love for you to keep it current...

I for one...commend you on your great work and hope you do continue to get back into it...

Agreed. Thank you very much for the Data Base. I have used it and found it very helpful! You hard work is very much appreciated. :) Brad

Mike ,

it is good to have these resources to identify the product line...However they are missing the early parts of the lines...ie the AK series on the database starts @ AK11...

Joe

Joe...

actually it's not my website...and I know some of the series are far from complete...like Ancient Egypt for example...I was just offering the link for anyone that might find it useful...

The reason for this is that I don't have all the data that I need for those sets. I did the databases primarily to track releases by release date and retirement date. Went back, via dispatches and forum posts, as far as I could in that regard. With series like Ancient Eqypt and Streets of Old Hong Kong I have collected the release/retired information, but haven't put it in yet. You'll see some of them, but that is because they were sets retired recently, and I wanted to reflect an accurate visual dispatch for a month. Sagers site is excellent as well, especially for more historical releases from 90s and early 2000s. My goal was to be fast, efficient and include dates (helps predict what may retire, and track costs over the years).

Hope this helps to clarify the intent.

Rich...I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed your site...I realize you're a little behind on some seies...I do hope you find time to catch up...I love the stock photos and the format is simple to navigate...great job!

The good people at Sierra Toy Soldier pointed me to Sager's site many years ago. I refer to it quite often and find it very useful for info on K&C retirements from long ago.

I've updated the K&C database to bring it up to the most recent dispatches. Enjoy!
