With the higher and increasing cost for figures I was wondering if the manufacturers could give us a bit longer than usual before series are retired.

Particularly for me as a collector of AWI and also I imagine ACW and Naps collectors where you want to perhaps set up multiples for a battalion and a good firing line etc.

I am finding that I am obviously getting a lot less soldiers for my money and before I can get to the level I want they invariably end up being retired.

I think (but could be wrong) that figures are usually retired when a new series are about to be released, but would be good if they could run alongside each other for a bit and give us more time to get the figures we want!

Hello Cornwallis.
I agree with you.
I collect all the figures K&C from WW1 and would like to say it's now difficult for someone to finish a collection before the figures are retired.
I will start end of the year the australian light horse collection and when you see how much figures represents the collection....
It will take me two years to have the whole serie with certainly some retired figures.
