A few years back I was given this as a casting of a pair of Napoleon's Grenadier Guards pulling a sled during the tragic Retreat from Moscow in the winter of 1812.

I didn't realise that could be bought as castings as it doesn't show that on the Fusilier website, only painted sets. http://www.fusilier-miniatures.com/
I was very impressed with these figures when i saw them at the London Toy Soldier Show a few years back, but didn't buy any there.

This year while I was searching for a couple of seated RHA 1815 Gunners to complete my Hinchliffe Gun Team I thought I'd ask if these Napoleonic figures are available as castings and Mark Turner replied that they were and he could include them into my order of the RHA gunners.

I poured over the 156 entries in the on-line catalogue and selected a group of Hussars that I would pose around a campfire, resting for the night, in the snowy countryside.

Here is another shot from a higher vantage point.

The figures have been painted as 8th Regiment Hussar, and they will join the rest of my 'Retreat' figures which is all Tradition of London figures.

Hope you like my work,

John

They look great!

Cheers

Gary

Thanks Gary,

I showed them off at at our local Toy Soldier Gathering this afternoon and the guys were quite impressed too !!!

Yes, we can gather together in groups provided we keep our distance and no more that 30,000 people are there !!!

We had about to in a house, so VERY safe,

John
