When the 'Pike & Musket' range appeared a few years ago. I ignored it. I had plenty of examples of figures from other manufacturers and I like to collect a bit of everything. So I could save my hobby funds to spend elsewhere.

There was the added complication that the ECW figures in my collection were true 54mm scale and therefore smaller than the offerings from K&C.

And so to add K&C figures to my cavalry, dragoons, infantry, artillery, personality and engineers would not fit.

Then came the 'Pike & Musket' sale. I decided just to get a couple of K&C mounted figures to display with my other ECW offerings. But once they arrived over Easter, boom things changed. These were truly some of the best K&C figures I had seen - and I have quite a few from other ranges. I am hooked and another 6 figures have been ordered straight away.

I know I will need to be quick as my dealer 'fixer' in Oz has told me the sale has evoked a fair amount of interest. I assume the range is on sale as it has come to the end of its life. So depleted hobby funds will need to be diverted into this range.

Why was this range a hidden secret for so long? Well at least from me!

Gary

Hi Gary,
Thank you for sharing examples of your non KnC ECW Figures with us. Would you be so good as to tell us a little more about those examples? I have to admit that I couldn't identify a single figure by Brand/Manufacture. There are some seriously good figures depicted.
Happy Collecting,

The first lot of photos are Alexanders toy soldiers, The standing cavalier is Kronprinz, the red coated Roundheads are Heritage Miniatures, the standing dragoons and other photo of royalist infantry firing are unknown to me The engineers are again Alexanders toy soldiers.

I hope this helps

Hi Gary,

Very informative. And, yes, it does help to push back the veil of ignorance. I will now go and have a look at the ATS Catalogue to discover what else is lurking therein!

Thank you very much,

Bob
