I just secured delivery of K&C set# FOB 069, Bomb Disposal Truck, to add to my "1940 London Blitz" display. I purchased this item via an eBay sale with a seller I know well for a price at only about 59% of the current retail price, however it did not come with the set box. I think the truck adds nicely to the 12 inch square display area representing the London Blitz in circa September 1940. The diorama base, ruined building and backdrop were all made by J.G. Miniatures (John Gittins of England). All the figures, unexploded bomb and now the Bomb Disposal Truck were made by King & Country. Please see #4 photos below.

Great scene, conveys the message of the times well,^&cool^&cool to poor old London. Hope you can also squeeze in Andy's fire truck that he has planned. Robin.

I've always loved that bomb truck but goes with nothing I have. Great purchase! Enjoy

Robin:

Thanks for your very nice comments. Alas, this 12 inch square display area does not have room for a fire truck. But thanks for the information on a new fire truck to be made by K&C.

Very nice display with a lot of appropriate figures.
However, if I was in charge of that Bomb Disposal squad I might want to get all the non-combatants out of the area. -- Larry
