Sad to hear that Richard Matheson has passed away at age 87. He is one of my favorite sci-fi writers. His credits are wide-ranging, being best known for his classic novel "I Am Legend" which has been adapted to movie form 3 different times, 1964's 'Last Man on Earth', 1971's 'Omega Man', and 2007's 'I Am Legend'. He also wrote for many classic TV shows such as The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, and Night Gallery. He is the writer of the legendary Twilight Zone episode 'Terror at 20,000 feet' that starred William Shatner. A true loss to the sci-fi community. -- Al
