Yesterday I was given the sad news that Richard Newth-Gibbs died last Tuesday. Richard was a familiar figure at most shows during the 80s and 90s marketing his own varied range of figures until ill health forced his premature retirement. A keen musician and re-enactor he took part in many ACW engagements both here in the UK and also in the US as a company drummer in the CSA force. His deeply held religious beliefs kept him cheerful despite his debilitating illness and he retained his quirky sense of humour throughout. Rest easy, old friend. Trooper

That’s some sad news Alan. I didn’t know him very well but I did some painting for Richard in the early 90’s.
My sympathies and condolences to his family.

Jeff
