I was delighted to see in the latest(April/May 2011) Toy Soldier Collector that FL are doing the 95th Rifles at Waterloo. Among the impressive line upof somw fourteen figures is a one described as a "Lieutenant" which is Sean Bean aka Richard Sharpe to the life! Unfortunately no sign of Sgt Harper with his six-barreled gun!

Of course Sharpe fans will point out that although Sharpe was at Waterloo it was not in the capacity as a 95th Rifles lieutenant! Still well done FL!

DELIGHTED?????:rolleyes2::tongue:^&grin Surely that is an understatement or at least it is in my case. Yes, while like the Harry Hoge character says at the end of Days of Thunder, I knew they were coming, I just knew it in my heart.:rolleyes2:^&grin Even so, hearing that it is finally near reality puts me OVER THE MOON. Now will someone come up with a bloody set of images from that article, PLEASE!!!!!:)

Thank you kindly Gaz. It looks like maybe 16 different figures from that shot, including ol Sean and the "big Sargent".^&grin^&grin Anyone have the full article to post?

Yes Geb, the CC is certainly whining now.:salute::

Nice looking figures, especaily seeing Sean Bean lookalike so I'm sure all Sharpe fans will be really thrilled to see this particular figure.

I'm a great fan of Bernard Cornwell's so I sure hope we also get a couple of the other character figures, such as Sgt Harper and the South Essex Regt and (god forbid) Sgt Obadiah Hakeswill :(

Wonderful to see more NAPs.

John

I wonder if those are the masters or the production figures... Since we can see multiples of the same figure.. those are production figures I'm pretty sure... so my guess would be thay they are going to be here in 2-3 months .......

I like pictures like this... it helps me stay focus on Naps !

Cheers

I am a huge Cornwell fan and I would say that the Irish sargeant lookalike is just to the right of the middle with the three stripes.:wink2: Personally I can do without that b*st**d Hakeswill but I certainly would love to see a Teresa partisan.:cool:

Bill ,
I would think that with the release of those fine Cuirassiers and now the Lads in Green ya gotta be reeling a bit ^&grin Ya gotta be careful what ya ask for mate :wink2: Congratulations on finally getting the 95th , I guess you win this round . I'll end my Concession post with one more plea for Blücher and Gneisenau ^&grin Regards Gebhard
