Great looking scene Duke. Hopefully the tank's engines will warm the troops up a bit !{sm2}

Very nice Duke. I have the Cromwell as well and your scene inspired me for a futur diorama.
Can you please give me the K&C references of the tank riders .
With anticipated thanks .

Thanks Guy. I will look forward to your future diorama with the Cromwell.

The winter British tank riders are set BBB002. One change on these figures I did was spray them with a clear matt coating to make the brown vests flat instead of glossy.

Thanks Steve. Yeah, maybe the engine exhaust can provide some warmth.

Duke mate,
Very nice cobber. However the scene looks like a Cromwell of the 8th Royal Irish Hussars in the Korean War.

Cheers Howard

Cheers Howard. Maybe Andy can reply on that one. It is set DD116 so was sold by K&C as a WWII tank and this is how it was advertised:

"Providing some of the armour support during the Normandy campaign was one of Britain's best tanks and finest armoured divisions. Our latest fighting vehicle is a Cromwell Mk IV of the Welsh Guards of the Guards Armoured Division. Although this division did not land until D. Day +11 it took part in some of the heaviest fighting in the Normandy bocage" and saw almost continuous action until the German surrender in May 1945. Our model comes with two crew figures and a detachable "back pack" of extra supplies. "

I just stuck it in a winter scene as I don't have the later release "Comet"
