Kit maker La Meridiana is coming out with a interesting series. It's going to depict and 18th cen.riverport.It will have woodland indians and French trappers. As most here collect toy soldiers and don't do kits most wouldn't be interested but they are going to do a trading house and dock plus other accessories.Even if you don't want the figures the dock maybe something someone would want as I don't think it would take a master painter to paint a wooden dock and weather it.Meridiana does large 54mm figures and they are beautifully made.A riverport would go nice with some of the Jenkins sets.To see some of the figures and a prototype of the dock go to www.meridianamagazine.blogspot.com and scroll down.

Hey Mark. Thanks for putting this up. Somebody on Planetfigure posted this last night and I had a brief look at it. I may go in for some of these items as I love both the subject matter and the company's kits. Also agree that LaMeridiana figures are a bit larger than other 54mm kits. Looking forward to seeing more detail on the new figures now. :)

This looks like it will be a great diorama.I had emailed La Meridiana a couple of months ago with a couple of ideas for figure kits for the FIW as they hadn't done much of that in a while and a Fabio emailed me telling me about this project but I was sworn to secrecy. He sent me the picture of the Frenchman and indians but this is the first time I had seen the dock.Looks really good but I but bet there are some guys out there who could build it themselves.I am not one of them by the way.:(:D
