Can anyone recommend the prefered glue to use to repair the overhead crossbar on the prime mover. It was free floating when I opened up a new pre-opened box

I'd go for CA / superglue. A tiny bit applied with a cocktail stick or similar should hold it fine.

The glue I use is called Insta-Cure+. It is a cyanoacrylate gap filling glue in a 1/2 oz. plastic bottle. The label usually has the name of a hobby store on it. The glue comes in 3 thicknesses. The middle thickness (the gap filling +) works best.
